“Stories of Friendship” is a project that shows through visual and verbal means of expression examples of fellowship between different ethnic groups and nationalities living in Bulgaria. By illustrating real events from the children’s lives, this book is an exposure of positive examples of communication and cohabitation in goodness and understanding without prejudice and discrimination. The authors of the drawings and the stories are children aged between 5 and 14, participants in the “Stories of Friendship” contest, held in 2018. The works illustrate mutual help, support and carefree games between Bulgarian, Roma, Armenian, Turkish, Iraqi, Syrian, Vietnamese, Jamaican, Russian and African kids.
